WaitDoja Cat Has a Skincare Line? BH Cosmetics X Doja Cat Review

So i just i cant think about anything so im just gon na play around with some skincare now. One thing i didnt expect to happen was for dozier cat to have a skincare line, and she doesnt really is more of a collaborative effort with bh cosmetics ive. Never heard of bh cosmetics because theyre more theyre more makeup. I guess they have some skincare, but i wouldnt say theyre known for their skin care, or maybe i just dont know them for their skincare and im, not really sure how much input she had creativity wise. I mean i feel, like im, not familiar enough with her to be like oh yeah. This is her style or whatever, but i do like her music. I was a fan of her um ages ago when she released like so high and then after that, i feel like she just kind of disappeared, but the majority of this collaboration is makeup, so skin care wise, we have very little um theres a hand mirror. I guess theres lip balm, which we have today waterfall body oil i didnt buy because i dont like the feeling of oil on my body, star milk, which is a moisturizer which we have today and on do drop under eye gel pads, which we have today. I find the name really weird well go in that in a minute, but one thing i really focus on when it comes to trying these new products is how well they work with the rest of my routine, so were going to rush through a bit of my Routine, quick and then use these products for, for the first time, more first impressions.

Please remember you have to use products like this for about four weeks to two months before you can really get impression of how good they work for your skin just for funsies. First impressions and were gon na look at the ingredients and kind of see whats going on so ive kind of my face already were gon na hydrate, the skin with hydrate the mist by jordan, samuels skin. I go through this like water because it feels like water is just so refreshing on the skin, but dont talk once you sprayed it, but i do like to kind of like um mist pretty much between every step of the routine. The essence im going to use is the magic beauty, shroom tremella mushroom elixir. I dont really like this. This is whats the brand called chasing rabbits. I dont really like this product, its too watery for me. It i feel like it doesnt really. I dont know im just it feels like im just like putting water on my skin ive been using it for a while ive had it for about two months now and im, not really not really enjoying it, but we must get through it. So thatll be going on my body, so the first product were going to use of cat and bhs collab is the dew drops these are under eye patches. I find the name very, very strange and kind of out of place. I think, if youre familiar with skin care, we know obviously glow recipe have theyre nice and my dew drops, but i think, even if they werent around do drops, you would think of a serum right.

You think of like the little pipette in the serum and dripping and when you think of under eyes, you dont think. Oh, i want them to be dewy thats weird. No. I find it very, very odd, speaking about serum im going to use the galactomyces and nice in my serum by tune 28 im. So sorry, someone told me how to pronounce this. I forgot ill. Look it up after this. I might voice over myself now tune 28., but galactomyces and nice and might really help kind of like, as a team brighten, the skin even out tone texture help with your skin barrier as well. But we are doing the under eye patch dew drops now, because this is when eye patches need to be used. I see a lot of people using under eye patches in the mask stage, which is fine if youre using something like a sheet mask or a cream mask that you rub in any mask that you have to wash off you dont use under eye patches with, because You need the serum that these are drenched in to stay on your skin, so the thing is: if you put these under your eyes, then youre washing off theres, no point: i see people apply these over clay masks again, you need the serum to be making contact With your skin and the product making contact with your skin its like putting a sheet mask over a clay mask, it doesnt really do anything so very typical, typical product.

You get the usual spatula that you get with these, which i dont understand how to use these. I find them very, very complicated, but lets look at the product description and some of the ingredients as well. So dew drops what is it. This is 17 achieve that bright, ready to take on the universal look with dew drops under eye gel pads, hydrogel patches, infused with energizing caffeine and moisturizing hyaluronic acid, really, nice ingredients to have, under your eyes, brightening plumping hydrating. These cooling pads are meant to be a quick pick me up for tired eyes and work to brighten hydrate de puff and combat dark circles in just 10 minutes, youre, never going to combat dark circles in 10 minutes with continuous use, maybe um each pack, depending on Whether its pigmentation or whatever, each pack contains 30 pairs of shimmery light purple pairs of a light, citrusy floral scent, i dont smell anything. I dont smell anything, not bad, not a problem, so we have all the usual gluten free, paraben, free, dermatologist, tested, um extra clean, which we know all these things dont mean anything so a little bit thicker. They look kind of like standard eye patches, but they are a little bit thicker, so theres, no right or what wrong way to put these you know theyre just kind of like there. These are sticking quite well so far, sorry im using a monitor, thats flipped to try and put these on so its a little bit confusing.

The real test is whether these stay up within 10 minutes, because one thing i hate about under eye patches is how they just drip down your face and they end up on your neck. They do have a really nice cooling sensation to them, which you know a lot of under eye pads have so anyway, they say they got no formaldehydes, no toxic phthalates, no mineral oil, no retinol palmitate. It says where is that considered clean, not to have retinal palmitate? In something no oxybenzone, no culture, coal, tar, isnt that for psoriasis isnt that something that isnt just floating around in skincare anyway. Correct me, if im wrong, im, not sure no hydroquinone, hydroquinone, no triclosan, no, not more than one percent of synthetic fragrances. Okay. So this is what annoys me about. These kind of products is rather than saying what your product doesnt have just tell us what its got in it like. Why would these have retinal palmitate in any way? Why would these have hydroquinone in, like it, doesnt make sense? Its annoying and we dont do clean beauty here its a load of. We know that a lot of this is fear mongering. A lot of this is just catering to kind of what the current trend is of clean beauty, and i wish these brands would take a better stance on it and tell educate us on maybe why they dont want to use these in a better way. Because you know, dont include whatever you dont want to include, but also tell us what is in your products, because this is annoying.

Then they have click to see the full list of ingredients and its a long one. So in these under eye patches, they have caffeine, which is nice to see in an under eye product, and this is the kind of ingredients that separate your eye cream or eye serums from a separate moisturizer. So when people say eye creams and moisturizers are the same thing well, technically, yes, they can be. Sometimes there are certain ingredients that separate them and have better ingredients in that actually target the under eye area, so thats, nice, so hyaluronate, nice, fine, hyaluronic, acid, glycerin, very hydrating. We have soothing alan toen, which is very soothing other than that, its all. Just a bit of like weve got colorants in here: perfuming solvents, etc. So you know its more really just a hydrating serum, which is fine, absolutely fine, theyre not going anywhere, they feel really secure. I quite like these – i must be honest, like these are kind of like a mini fridge kind of product. You know i quite like the way they look as well. The purples really nice well give it a bit longer and then well take them off. Okay, so were gon na take these off these dried out quite a bit quicker than like normal under eye patches, but i do like that, obviously, that immediate brightness is literally just a serum sitting on top of our skin, but with continuous use like an eye cream.

You probably will start to see some nice differences under the eyes. I, like those, should you all rush out and go and buy these doger cat. Dew drops the weirdest name for under eye patches ever no. If youve already got some youre, probably not going to find these any different or new, but if youre in the market for some these are a good one to go for um, but theyre theyre very standard under eye patches. To be honest with you um in a very very basic hydrating serum, so these arent actually part of the dojo cat collection, but i wanted to try some of their pimple patches now i dont have any breakouts at the moment um, but i like to use pimple Patches not just for breakouts but for any itchy skin, irritated skin. Anything like that. So we have these nice shapes here. We have some other shapes here and then we also have um some of it. Why does that say on the front? Not never! Oh see, ya, see you see you later. Never sorry, not! Sorry, sorry not theyre crazy, 100 by pimple, but i use these for irritated areas of skin so anywhere that i feel im going to scratch throughout the day or pick at i like to put one of these on top of and just create a physical barrier um For my skin to to protect it basically so far so good theyre quite thick in comparison, so i got a bit of itchy here so im gon na put that there i like to see how these stick onto my serums and stuff as well, because theres been A brand, but oh, is the millie um.

Is that name millie bobby brown milly the one from stranger things right. She um her brand, their pimple patches kind of slide around a bit too much and then theyre not really for me, but these seem quite good. Quite sturdy, quite like them very affordable as well. Okay on to the next product, this is the doji cat star milk, and this is a moisturizer light reflecting moisturizer. Now, when we get these light, reflecting products im always worried that theyre gon na have glitter in like actual glitter or mica um or pearl crushed pearl, and i dont like the pearls so much, but the others literally just look like a glittery face like youre. Going to like a disco when youre 12., this this packaging is looks so cheap ive, seen this in a lot of skincare and especially like for men, budget makeup brands when they use like tinted moisturizers, just the whole thing just bends, oh thats, why youre not meant To twist it okay idiot, so you just meant to pull it off. Okay. So whilst we apply this can i just say their websites so annoying as well. So i have all the tabs open right on my computer as i move tab, the tabs flash and they say come back like they keep drawing your attention, its so annoying. Just seeing the corner of your eye, its so annoying so lets apply this um and read about the product. Also, i like moisturizers that i can glide over pimple patches without there being an issue, get that otherworldly glow with star milk light reflecting moisturizer a magical formula with pearlescent micro pigments that melt upon application and natural radiance to the skin.

This light weight, silky cream moisturizer, contains ceramides and hyaluronic acid that leaves behind a soft, healthy glow and clean floral scent on all skin types, complete with one of a kind, innovative tip that allows you to apply ribbons of product directly onto the skin. I dont want to do that. I mean its cute. I, like i do like the applique. Um must admit: okay, im, just gon na take this off, because i caught a little bit as annoying me. But if youre gentle over that pimple patch and youre not applying it in a monotone, you dont really know what youre doing. I think that pimple patch is gon na survive, youll be absolutely fine. This is incredibly lightweight, in fact, it doesnt even feel like theres moisturizer on my skin right now, but i do feel like i got this like luminosity to my skin. It looks dewy, but it doesnt feel like anything on the skin, okay, so ingredient wise. We have all the usual clean ingredient, but lets take a look at the full ingredient list. A more minimal ingredient list, this time, thats not really an indication of anything. To be honest with you, so in this moisturizer we have niacinamide, which is great for your skin barrier. Brighten the skin evening out tone um, helping um, helping um balance out sebum production. Of course, you have ceramides in here as well, which basically help keep your skin barrier intact and protected, and going strong and glycerin again really nicely hydrating did i say sodium hyaluronate sodium hyaluronate, so we do have synthetic mica in here thats.

What gives it that kind of like glowy, dewy, fake sheen and it doesnt look too bad? I i cant see it in a horrible way like i would go out wearing this without thinking. Oh, my god, everyones gon na think ive got like you know, party glitter, on my skin. I know glitter and mica are different, but when you look at it sometimes its like, oh, i dont know. Are they the same thing theyre not. I also believe synthetic mica is um a lot less questionable when it comes to how its produced and farmed can you farm mica. There is a little bit of fragrance in here, but you cant really smell anything. What i do find funny is that they theyre clean products here. They say that theyve got less than one percent synthetic fragrance, which is fine, but the fragrance they do have are probably known as some of the most um allergenic, like hexel, cinnamon or lima, lean um. Two that are potentially so irritating for people, potentially that has to be listed separately to fragrance and perfume. So i find that interesting. I find clean beauty in general to be very hypocritical of their of their selves, so yeah theres that i actually really like this. The packaging is awful. Its awful tell me that doesnt look like look how shitty that gradient is and look how crap that wrapping around the like this looks like look at that terrible. It feels cheap.

It feels flimsy for 16. You dont get too much, but i dont think its all so terrible, but i really really like this. It literally feels like theres, nothing on my skin. This is a summer moisturizer that people with oily skin, who want a dewy look to their skin, would absolutely love. Is there anything crazy special? No! For me, this is more about how it looks on my skin, rather than how it feels on the skin. The ingredients are nice, nothing crazy, revolutionary, very basic, and i guess a good way. Its got what you need in it. Its fine other than looking its fine and the last product were going to use, is the light tint lip balm. My migraine, oh mirage, so this feels cheap as well. It doesnt listen to how cheap it sounds, but do what this is nine dollars. I actually got this for four dollars because its 56 percent off, but look this lid is just this lid isnt even trying to stay on. Oh okay, its screw on okay, the lid is screw on so make sure you screw it back on and off otherwise youre gon na lose that lid. So i got this in the color light tint, because i do like a slight um tint to my lips, because otherwise they look quite dull. It smells like mac lipstick, like its got that vanilla y scent um scent to it. It looks a little warm for some reason.

My bottom lip has gone a little bit. Warm not sure why lets see what they say get sumptuous, sumptuous, thats, probably one of the words i hate the most sumptuous lips get sumptuous lush lips with mirage lip balm, a color, enhancing formula that reacts, the natural ph of your skin to change shades based on Your mood and environment wear this ultra hydrating lightly, scented balm alone or, on top of lipstick, for a unique tint, a soft palette, every time available with free, color payoffs, so its one of those like reactive ones. When really all they do, is they all go pink? They all go the same color i like this. You know what for four four dollars its fine, we have like emollients to make it feel nice and smooth. We have hydrating glycerin in here, more emollients, things that make it look. Glossy feel glossy um really really basic common lip balm ingredients, your mango seed butter again just moisturizing, basically jojoba seed oil. This is really such a basic basic lip balm. Do i care? No? Am i bothered by it? Absolutely not. It looks fancy its cute. Does the color changing thing for four dollars buy it? Why not? You know boring, but great does its job well, that is it really. I thought thered be a little bit more skincare to the collection, seeing as i dont know, i feel, like everyone was doing skincare last year, especially celebrities. So i thought thered be a few more little bits.

I dont know what i thought like. Maybe even a sheet mask from this kind of brand, i dont know. Let me know if youre going to bother with any of these honestly. This is probably my favorite thing and the the little shapes that these patches come in, despite the tacky names, are kind of cute. I quite like those i just cant get over how this packaging is it like they could have just kept it white and did dojo cat star milk with the gradient in the actual writing, because this is horrible. Its horrible anyway youve got some more product reviews here.
